VANCOUVER, BC (May 1, 2024) – Fairmont Hotel Vancouver proudly unveils a collaboration with the renowned Vancouver Art Gallery. This summer, guests can experience ‘Into The Forest With Emily Carr’ immersive Themed Afternoon Tea inspired by the legacy of the iconic Canadian artist Emily Carr and the Gallery’s current exhibition showcasing the renowned artist.
Emily Carr, celebrated for her vivid landscapes and pioneering spirit, continues to inspire generations with her profound connection to the natural world. The Vancouver Art Gallery’s exhibition, Emily Carr: A Room Of Her Own, offers a glimpse into Carr’s world, showcasing her artworks and the spaces where she lived and created.
‘Into The Forest With Emily Carr’ Afternoon Tea: A Culinary Tribute
Embark on a culinary journey inspired by Emily Carr with a special Afternoon Tea at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Available throughout the summer, guests can savour delectable treats and artistic creations. Each menu item is carefully crafted to reflect Carr’s vibrant spirit through a culinary journey of British Columbia. An inspired cocktail menu highlights some of Carr’s signature works through a collection of libations that draw from inspiration of her artistic style and visual composition, available during tea service and at Notch8 bar.
